This agreement is made between the Snouty mobile application developed by Bear Code Studio (hereinafter referred to as 'Application', 'Snouty' or 'We') and the user who accesses or uses the Application (hereinafter referred to as 'User', 'You' or 'Your').
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you are deemed to have accepted all terms of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use the Application.
2. Subject of Agreement and Services
Snouty is a mobile application that helps pet owners (especially cat and dog owners) manage the care of their pets.
The Application is for informational and organizational purposes only and does not replace professional veterinary advice.
3. User Age Restriction
Snouty is designed for users over 13 years of age. By using the Application, you declare and undertake that you are 13 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years of age. If we detect that a user under 13 is using the Application, we will immediately suspend the account and delete all data.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Application.
4. Account Creation and User Responsibilities
Account Creation
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
You must verify your email address
You must set a strong password
A user can only create one account
Account Security
You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
You are responsible for all activities performed through your account
You must immediately inform us in case of unauthorized access or security breach
You cannot use another user's account or share accounts
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the pet information you enter
You must enter veterinary records and health information accurately
You must respect photo copyrights (only photos owned by you)
You must verify the accuracy of in-app content and consult your veterinarian for important health decisions
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities while using the Application:
Prohibited Behaviors
Use for illegal purposes
Violating the rights of other users or third parties
Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code
Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Application
Collecting data with automated systems (bots, scrapers)
Sharing spam, harassment, hate speech, or offensive content
Impersonating others or providing misleading information
Attempting to test or exploit Application security
DDoS attacks or activities that increase server load
Unauthorized commercial use of the Application
Warning
Users who violate this policy may be suspended or permanently banned without warning.
6. Premium Subscription and Payment Terms
Snouty offers paid subscriptions for access to premium features:

Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Your credit card information is processed by Apple/Google and not stored by us
Prices may vary by local currency and local taxes may apply
Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions automatically renew (except lifetime)
You will be charged at the end of each period unless you cancel
To cancel: You can cancel the subscription from iOS App Store or Google Play Store settings
After cancellation, you can access premium features until the end of the current period
Free Trial
There is a 3-day free trial period (for weekly and monthly only)
If you cancel before the trial period ends, you will not be charged
At the end of the trial period, it automatically converts to a paid subscription
Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to Apple/Google's refund policies
You must contact App Store/Play Store for refund requests
Lifetime Purchases: If you experience technical issues within the first 14 days, you can request a refund by contacting legal@bearcodestudio.com
7. Not Veterinary Advice - Disclaimer
IMPORTANT WARNING: Snouty is a pet care organization application and does not provide professional veterinary services.
Explicit Statements
No content within the Application should be considered veterinary advice
You MUST consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health issues
In emergencies (poisoning, injury, sudden illness), seek veterinary help immediately
The Application is only for personal record keeping and reminders
Blog content is for general informational purposes and does not replace medical advice
Cost analytics and reports are for reference only
User Responsibility
You are fully responsible for your pet's health decisions
You must verify Application data (vaccination dates, medication doses)
You must share critical information (allergies, chronic diseases) with your veterinarian
The risk of making wrong decisions by relying on the Application is yours
Notice
Snouty is NOT RESPONSIBLE for pet health problems, injuries, or deaths resulting from Application use.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
Application and Content Ownership
All content, design, source code, logos, and brand elements of the Snouty application are the property of Bear Code Studio
All content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
In-app blog posts, images, and translations belong to Bear Code Studio
User Content
You own the photos you upload and the data you enter
By using the Application, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data
This license is only valid for providing the service, we do not sell your data
When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
Prohibited Uses
You cannot copy, duplicate, or distribute the Application
You cannot extract the source code through reverse engineering
You cannot use trademarks and logos without permission
You cannot collect Application content by scraping or automated methods
You cannot copy Application features for use in your own product
These services are subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies
Interruptions or errors in third-party services are beyond our control
We are not responsible for data loss or security breaches in these services
We reserve the right to notify service provider changes in advance
Outage Notification
Users will be notified in advance for planned maintenance (in-app notification and/or email)
Post-incident notification will be provided for emergency outages
Maximum effort is made but 24/7 uninterrupted service is not guaranteed
External Links
The Application may contain links to external websites in blog posts. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites. You use external links at your own risk.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Important points:

Termination Reasons
Violation of any provision of this agreement
Participation in prohibited activities
Illegal or harmful behavior
Harassing or disturbing other users
Threatening the security of the Application
Creating multiple accounts
Payment issues or fraudulent transactions
Detection that you are under 13 years of age
Suspension Process
A warning may be sent on first violation
Account is temporarily suspended on repeated violations
Permanent termination may be made without warning for serious violations (security threat, spam, illegal activity)
Right to Appeal
If your account is suspended or deleted, you can appeal within 14 days by contacting legal@bearcodestudio.com
You can provide situation explanation and evidence (screenshots, emails, etc.) in your appeal
Appeals are evaluated and responded within 15 business days
Appeal rights are limited for serious security violations (DDoS, hacking attempt, spam)
Final decision belongs to Bear Code Studio
After Termination
Your premium subscription is canceled, no refund is made
Your data is deleted within 30 days
You cannot open a new account with the same email
Data may be retained longer for legal proceedings
Termination by User
You can delete your account at any time: Settings > Account > Delete Account
All your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
You must cancel your premium subscription from App Store/Play Store
12. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Snouty application is provided 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE'.
Reasonable Care
We exercise reasonable care in developing and operating the Application. We work continuously on security, performance, and user experience. However, due to the nature of technology, there are some limitations.
We Do Not Warrant
100% error-free or uninterrupted operation (no 24/7 uptime guarantee but maximum effort is made)
Information in the Application is always accurate, current, or complete (blog content is for informational purposes)
Server interruptions, maintenance work, or technical problems may occur (advance notification will be provided)
Risk of data loss exists, you should back up important data (we use encryption and backups)
Continuity of third-party services (Supabase, OneSignal) (beyond our control)
To the extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snouty and Bear Code Studio are NOT LIABLE for the following:
Direct Damages
Data loss or corruption
Pet health problems or death (we are not veterinary advice)
Incorrect veterinary records or forgotten vaccination dates
Disruptions caused by notification errors
Application crashes or performance issues
Indirect Damages
Lost profits or revenue losses
Business interruptions
Moral damages
Damages from third parties
Data breaches (third-party sourced)
Maximum Liability
Our total liability is limited to the premium subscription fee you paid in the last 12 months
For free users, maximum liability is $50 USD
IMPORTANT: These limitations apply to the extent permitted by local consumer protection laws
Exceptions
Liability limitations may not apply in cases of intentional harm or gross negligence
Legally non-excludable rights (death, injury, fraud) are protected
For EU/Turkey consumer users, local laws always take precedence
14. Indemnification
By using the Application, you agree to indemnify Snouty, Bear Code Studio, its employees, directors, and partners from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
Your breach of this agreement
Your violation of laws or third-party rights
Content you upload through the Application (copyright infringement, privacy violation)
Damage you cause to other users or third parties
Your participation in prohibited activities
Unauthorized use of your account (due to your password security negligence)
This indemnification obligation continues to be valid even after you delete your account.
15. Agreement Changes
Snouty reserves the right to change this user agreement at any time.
Change Notification
We send in-app notifications for significant changes
We may inform you via email
The current agreement can always be viewed in the Application
The 'Last Updated' date is shown at the top of the agreement
Acceptance Process
You may be asked to accept the new agreement for significant changes
You cannot continue using the Application if you do not accept
If you continue using the Application after the change, you are deemed to have accepted the changes
Right to Cancel
You can delete your account if you do not accept the changes
Account deletion is completed within 30 days
You must cancel your premium subscription from App Store/Play Store
16. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
Jurisdiction
This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey
All disputes are resolved in Turkish courts
Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction
If no solution is reached within 30 days, you can resort to legal remedies
Consumer courts and consumer arbitration boards are also authorized
Alternative dispute resolution (mediation) may be suggested
European Union Users
GDPR rights apply to EU users
You have the right to complain to EU data protection authorities
Consumer protection laws may override this agreement
International Users
Local laws may also apply for users outside Turkey. In case of conflict, local consumer protection laws take precedence.
17. Miscellaneous Provisions
Severability
If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid, other provisions remain valid. Invalid provisions are reinterpreted to the extent permitted by law.
Waiver
Our waiver of any right does not mean waiver of future rights. Our forgiveness of one violation does not mean we forgive other violations.
Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Replaces previous oral or written agreements. Privacy Policy is an integral part of this agreement.
Assignment
You cannot transfer this agreement or your account to anyone else. Snouty may transfer the agreement with prior notice (e.g., company sale).
Language of Notices
This agreement is provided in Turkish and English. In case of conflict, the Turkish version prevails. The Application is available in 37 languages, but the agreement is only in TR and EN.
Communication
Official notices are sent via email. You are responsible for keeping your registered email address current.
